🔍 Role Overview:
Join Etisalat’s Cyber Security team and play a key role in protecting critical telecom infrastructure. As a Sr. Engineer – Network Security, you’ll lead efforts in implementing robust security controls, managing DDoS protections, and supporting security operations across services like 4G/3G, MPLS, Cloud, Data Centers, and IPTV.
👤 Key Responsibilities:
🟢 Administer, configure, and troubleshoot network security systems (Arbor DDOS, Peakflow, TMS, AED)
🟢 Monitor and mitigate DDoS attacks and apply necessary countermeasures
🟢 Analyze network packets, manage access control policies on Cisco routers/switches
🟢 Coordinate with stakeholders, lead L2/L3 support, and ensure 24/7 security readiness
🟢 Ensure compliance with ITIL practices including change, incident, and problem management
💼 Skills & Qualifications:
🔹 Must-Have:
✔️ Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Engineering
✔️ 8+ years of experience in network security, preferably in telecom environments
✔️ Strong knowledge in internet, cloud, and infrastructure networks
✔️ Experience with high-end Cisco devices and security tools
✔️ Security certifications: CCNP (Security), JNCIP (Security), NSE4, etc.
